Bonsai Thursday with Dave.

Once again when Dave arrived for our usual Thursday get together he was carrying a bag of something.

Turned out to be even more bogwood and an idea he had last night.

Having fixed some bogwood together yesterday, he brought it along for us to play around with. I had this piece of slate laying about the garden and we thought it would make a nice base to fix the bogwood to.

We marked around the wood then using a stone cutter carved out an outline.

We then fixed the wood and slate together.

This will be left until next week now to cure, then we can find a decent tree to plant into it.

With the right tree and some Keto around the edges, it should look quite good.

But that will be a post for next Thursday.
